This title was changed because (according to the official story) a cleaner said Florizel sounded like a disinfectant. This cleaner was said to be the same person that had persuaded the producers that the idea of a drama about the ordinary lives of ordinary people was a winner.
Florizel is the Prince of Bohemia in Shakespeare's The Winter's Tale, who falls in love with Perdita (one of the heroines of the play) and plans to marry her. He is also a daring, ingenious adventurer in Robert Louis Stevenson's New Arabian Knights, who risks his kingdom and life merely for the whim of it.
